Isaac Afidra had 28 points and grabbed 8 rebounds while Makmot Orom added 10 points and Adam Kakuru had seven points, but it was a smothering defense in the fourth quarter that made the difference.
KIU, never a team known for a strong defense, held Miracle to a season-low 8 points in the second quarter and only 10 points in the fourth as they recorded their third consecutive victory.
Chris Kyebambe and James Kirabo netted 14 and 10 points respectively for Miracle, which was seeking its fourth win of the season.
In other games, Bonface Okello and Albert Aciko combined for 43 points to earn Nkumba-Marines a bounce-back 103-41 victory over Najja High.
