Soccer Child Restoration Outreach (CRO) has lifted this year’s Mbale District 1st Division soccer title after collecting 32 points. The club, formed by former street boys, will together with Industrial, Kobil, UPDF and Garage represent Mbale in the FUFA Zone 2 mini-league due next month.

Federation president Lawrence Mulindwa said that the local body was going to crackdown on fans who take it upon themselves to insult players while on the pitch. Mulindwa was reacting to complaints during a meeting with the national team, the Cranes.
