LIRA - Christians from St.Peters and St.Paul’S churches in the UK have donated a new generator worth sh40m to Lira Regional Referral Hospital. The group raised the money from well-wishers in the two churches. The sympathisers purchased, shipped and paid installation costs of the automatic generator.
LRA surrender
GULU - Three LRA rebels, including an unidentified commander, have surrendered to the army with their guns. The army spokesman in the north, Lt. Chris Magezi, said on Monday that the commander surrendered at Awach and the other two surrendered in Kitgum.
