TOP seed Gloria Najjuka will be fighting to lift the Picfare School’s girls’ U-18 badminton title as the senior competition starts today at Lugogo indoor stadium.
The Our Lady of Good Counsel school star, who lost to Rose Nakalya in last year’s final, has been seeded top with Sheila Kalijja, runner-up in last year’s U-15, the second seed in the three day tournament.
Picfare has sunk in sh6.9m to cater for the different prizes that include cash.
Najjuka was seeded top after Nakalya and Monica Nakityo completed secondary school education and joined university.
