By Stephen Muwambi NAALYA Secondary School threw a lavish bash to celebrate its 10-year existence recently. Celebrants ate and drank to their fill as they listened to music and live performances from students. The school grew from a humble beginning in 1996 to become one of the largest schools in Wakiso district. The Nabagereka of Buganda, Sylvia Nagginda, presided over the function. She opened the multi-million Nanseera complex, which was named after the school director, Dr. Livingstone Ddungu’s late father. She also launched the school’s magazine, The Horizon. Nagginda hailed Ddungu for always supporting the Kabaka Education Fund by offering free education to poor children. Namirembe diocesan bishop, Samuel Balagadde Ssekadde, Kira mayor Mamerito Mugerwa, headmasters of other schools and the school’s alumni attended the function. Ends
