Uganda telecom (utl) on Saturday gave out several prizes during the grand draw of its sh500m Fleximania sales promotion.
The draw was conducted electronically at the Constitutional Square in Kampal a.
The three winners will travel to Mecca while another two people won a trip to Jerusalem. Other prizes included an LG Home System, motorcycles, iron sheets, television sets, solar panel systems, generators, T-shirts and sh5m in cash.
Fred Kigozi, the utl mobile services brand manager, said the company was awarding customers for their support.
He said winners participated through loading of airtime on their mobile phones and SMS to utl on the prizes they wanted.
Emanuel Kaneene won a 21’inch flat screen television set.
The promotion was run with support from Total Uganda and LG Uganda.
The prize giving celemony is slated for this Thursday at the Rwenzori Courts courtyard in Kampala.
