Alpha team to chase lead car

RIYAZ Kurji and Sayed Kadri of the Alpha team start off in second place in the Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) Mavuno Loan Rally 2006 that starts today with a 1.1km spectator stage.
Kurji is on the Kenyan terrain in the 358km event, the fifth round of Kenya National Rally Championship (KNRC) before heading to Zambia for the Africa rally championship series starting July 21.
The Alpha team is seventh with 80 points in the KNRC after winning the first round of the championship in Naivasha early this year.
Azar Anwar, the reigning Kenya champion, leads with 200 points. Kurji is expected to test his Subaru N8 in the event as they prepare for the Zambia rally.
