FORUM for Democratic Change vice-president Salaamu Musumba lost the Bugabula south MP seat because she was “unpopular among the electorate,” area MP Asuman kiyingi has said.

He said the press quoted Musumba as claiming that the state used over sh800m to ensure that she lost the elections.

“Musumba had become unpopular because she had run out of constructive ideas,” Kiyingi said at the launch of Anthony Magezi’s album “basiima” at Country Club, Kamuli on Saturday.
