UGANDA Christian University (UCU) became the latest victims of the Nkumba-Marines, succumbing to an 80-60 loss to the Nkumba University side in the Falcons Invitational tournament at Lugogo.

UGANDA Christian University (UCU) became the latest victims of the Nkumba-Marines, succumbing to an 80-60 loss to the Nkumba University side in the Falcons Invitational tournament at Lugogo.
New signing Julius Lutwama scored 9-of-his 18 points during an early fourth quarter run as Marines notched a 20-point victory over UCU.
Norman Blick led the way with 26 points as Marines handed UCU a second consecutive defeat, forcing them out of the regional tournament.
The game was tied at 36-36 with eight minutes left in the third quarter when Blick keyed a decisive 26-16 run over the next quarter.
Peter Senfuka tried to keep UCU in the game, with 18 points.
