ST. Mathias Kalemba Secondary School in Nazigo sub-county, Kayunga district, launched an Information Communication Technology (ICT) and Internet centre last Sunday. Education minister Geraldine Bitamazire commissioned the centre and a classroom block.

Moses Mugwebe Bank of Uganda’s systems integrator Management Information Department official, Joram Ssozi, the Ssona Hardware’s director, chairman Uganda Inter-Bank Association and corporate dealer Standard Chartered Bank, Uganda Communications Commission and parents funded the projects.
Sulaiman Madaada, the State minister for the elderly and disabled, teachers, religious leaders, old students and other professionals attended. John Mpoza, the headmaster, said ICT will help the school embrace modern teaching methods.
