ANOTHER set of siamese twins has been born at Kuluva Hospital in Arua district, bringing to two the number of siamese twins delivered in the district in three months.
The first set of twins, one of whom was abnormal, were delivered at Arua regional hospital in May. They were separated but both passed away due to serious organ complications.
Kuluva Hospital medical superintendent Dr. Patrick Kerchan said the twins were born to 20-year-old Harriet Acuu of Kati village in Ullepi sub-county, Madi Okollo county on Friday evening.
She is the wife of Jacob Acema, a student in one of the technical institutes in the district. Acuu had two miscarriages and this was her third pregnancy.
