THE British Airways (BA) flights to Entebbe Airport have not been affected by terrorist threats that hit UK yesterday.
Jackie Lwanga, the BA airport manager at Entebbe, said only British short-haul flights were initially cancelled. She said the Entebbe flight was expected on schedule today at 5:40am. “The flight leaves London tonight,†she added.
BA yesterday cancelled its flights to and from London’s Heathrow and Gatwick airports after an alleged terrorist attempt to blow up passenger jets.
