Kaizer Chiefs ace David Obua is in town determined to guide Cranes to a winning start to the 2008 Nations Cup qualifiers on Saturday.

“We have to win on Saturday and I will do all I can to help the team to glory,” Obua said.

“I feel great and in good form,” he added.

Serbia-based defender Nestroy Kizito and goalkeeper Denis Onyango, who turns out for South Africa side Super Sport also arrived, raising the hopes of a nation after a disappointing 0-0 draw against Burkina Faso on Tuesday.

But as the professionals flew in, coach Laszlo Csaba was still on his knees praying that Geoffrey Massa makes it in time.

Finishing has been Cranes biggest weakness and the German cannot wait for Massa to arrive.

“I hope to have all the professionals especially Massa, so that a few changes are done,” Csaba said earlier.

Argentina-based defender Ibrahim Sekagya and Massa based in Egypt will complete coach Csaba’s line up when they arrive today or tomorrow.

Midfielder Hakim Magumba is steadily improving from his illness while Andrew Mwesigwa has been cleared from an earlier injury scare.

Cranes opponents Lesotho have meanwhile postponed their arrival from today to tomorrow.

Lesotho will be led by dangerous Bloemfontein Celtic striker Mpongwa Rubajwa.

Sudan referees will handle the game.

Meanwhile, Samona Products have offered an assortment of utilities to boost the Cranes campaign worth sh0.5m. They have also offered to print flyers.
