LORRAINE Akinyi made 23 points as Uganda Christian University (UCU) Mukono humiliated MUBS 65-13 in the women basketball category at their second appearance of the sh250m utl sponsored inter-university invitational games Tuesday.
The athletic forward had able support from Francis Nabubi who made 16 points as the hosts dominated the visitors scoring 21-3 in the final quarter.
UCU also staged a strong composition in the men basketball category to again thump Makerere University Business School (MUBS) 56-36.
Geoffrey Omondi, Victor Kazibwe and man-of-the-match Ivan Enabu dominated the visitors from the start with a 23-9 lead in the first quarter.
MUBS however recovered through volleyball beating the hosts in straight sets in the men category while the women also won the decisive set 25-23 with Sauda Adiru on song.
UCU, that had defender Collins Oyo break his left leg, were walloped 3-0 in soccer.
The games continue today with Makerere main campus (MAK) hosting Ndejje in a return leg.
