FUFA boss Lawrence Mulindwa and Ball International Group (BIG) director Ben Misagga met and agreed to clear misunderstandings that threatened the CHOGM Cup due next year.

Aldrine Nsubuga, the soccer body’s publicist, told the media yesterday that the uncertain ties between BIG and FUFA had been settled.

“There had been animosity but the president and Misagga met and there is finally hope for the tournament. BIG should normalise their mistakes and proceed,” Nsubuga urged.

Meanwhile, FUFA said that they to copied a letter to the minister after his office denied receiving an earlier letter regarding FUFA’s request that government funds Cranes’ trip to Niger, at sh188m.

Nsubuga was responding to sports minister Charles Bakkabulindi’s Tuesday claim that FUFA’s Charles Masembe surpassed NCS.
