HAVE you ever imagined that a coin of sh100, that you spend on a sweet, a pan cake or a banana everyday, could bring a wide smile to the over 60,000 children with disabilities?
The Uganda Society for Disabled children (USDC) recently launched a campaign to raise sh600m to improve the welfare of such children.
Try it now. Drop not less a sh100 coin in any of the boxes provided at the 11 partners (companies and organisation) that have joined the noble crusade of making the over 1.2 million disabled children in Uganda have “a chance to beâ€.
The partners include The New Vision, Stanbic Bank, Simba telecom, Eagen Uganda Ltd and Quality Supermarket. Others are Capital Radio, Beat FM, Petro (U) Ltd and Uganda Broadcasting Corporation.
