Stanbic set for Nakulabye test

DANIEL Nsibambi, Benon Sambya and Albert Otete will be on test as Stanbic Bank meets Nakulabye in division two of the national chess league at Lugogo over the weekend.

DANIEL Nsibambi, Benon Sambya and Albert Otete will be on test as Stanbic Bank meets Nakulabye in division two of the national chess league at Lugogo over the weekend.

Favourites Stanbic Bank are on top of the table with 45 points above Kireka Vipers, Lugogo and Jinja.

The Uganda Chess Federation league will also have Jinja Chess Club travel for a tie against Nkumba while Kireka B will take on Kawanda Technical.

Hosts Lugogo that boast of veterans Enoch Barumba, David Kibanda and Andrew Nkwasibe take on Mulago that has so far had a poor season.

Each club will field four participants playing only one game that lasts a maximum of four hours.

The club with the highest number of points will be declared winners at the end of the league organised by the local body.
