ENTEBBE club chairman Emmanuel Mugamba will tee off first at the Dan Nkata memorial golf tournament today.
Mugamba is drawn with Kihumuro Apuuli and George Ssendawula in the stableford event at the Entebbe course.
Over 80 golfers will be on the 18-hole lakeshore course.
They will go in action at intervals of ten minutes with the last group of Sam Zaramba, Gad Gumisiriza and Kenneth Bateyo set to tee off at 1pm.
Entebbe club captain Chris Rutebarika, said the event has attracted golfers from all clubs.
“The response is encouraging, it is a proper way of remembering Nkata,†Rutebarika said.
Nkata, who died in 2004, is a former club captain and key figure in golf.
