HANDICAP 11 golfer Cecilia Lwanga is eyeing a second successive win at the JBG golf Open due this weekend.

Lwanga, winner of the ladies title last year, is up against her old foes at the par-72 Entebbe course.

The player faces her colleagues from Kampala including former lady champion Esther Okullo, Alice Owori, Regina Ddamulira and Eva Okatch.

The host club’s fight will be led by Harriet Kitaka and Podi Kassami at the event held for the ninth year running. Also in action is Entebbe club captain Chris Rutebarika, Valentine Wanda and Kampala’s John Waigo and Jim Bitwire among others.

Rutebarika, said that over 80 players will be competing. The tournament is again sponsored by JBG, a German engineering firm.
Tee off is at 7am while the prize presentation will take place on Sunday evening.
