TWO groups of former poachers in Kitholhu sub-county in Kasese district on Thursday received farming tools from the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA).

TWO groups of former poachers in Kitholhu sub-county in Kasese district on Thursday received farming tools from the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA).
The donation included two $400 coffee pulping machines, spades, hoes and pangas.
The Rwenzori Mountains Community Conservation Warden, Simon Akweraireho, handed over the donation to the beneficiaries.
Over 150 people in Kasese district denounced poaching in April and asked UWA to give them an alternative source of income.
