Did Nsaba Buturo refund the money?

SIR — Sometime last year, the then information minister Dr James Nsaba Buturo was irked by a spotlight story the New Vision published about him.
SIR — Sometime last year, the then information minister Dr James Nsaba Buturo was irked by a spotlight story the New Vision published about him.
It was reported that he was supposed to travel to malaysia for a meeting but did not go although he still used the sh3m allowance slated for the purpose.
I remember reading his angry letter in the The New Vision explaining that although the money had been spent, it would be recovered when he went on another trip! He also added that in any case he still had six months to refund the money.
Now Nsaba Buturo is no longer information minister and might not have the opportunity of taking the trip he talked of. The public would like to know whether the now ethics minister refunded the taxpayers’ money which was not used for what it was meant to do.
