EABL injects sh475m in education
EAST African Breweries (EABL) has offered 14 scholarships worth sh475m to students in East Africa.<br>The students were selected from over 5,000 applications.

EAST African Breweries (EABL) has offered 14 scholarships worth sh475m to students in East Africa.
The students were selected from over 5,000 applications.
The scholarships cover tuition and accommodation costs for the four years the students will be at the university.
The EABL Foundation’s manager, Jean Kiarie, said, “There are many underprivileged students who have brilliant academic results. We would like to help them pursue higher education.â€
Uganda Breweries’ head of corporate relations Marion Muyobo said, “This commitment is testimony of the importance the EABL Foundation attaches to education in the region. We shall continue to encourage other industry players to adopt similar initiatives.â€
