NTUNGAMO - Traditional healers have been challenged to groom successors. The LC3 chairman for Kamuganguzi sub-county, Denis Nzeirwe, said healers and medicinemen were custodians of indigenous knowledge and practices, which should be preserved after the healers die. He was recently speaking at the burial of a medicineman, George Bagunda, at Mayengo village.

NTUNGAMO - The Uganda National Students Association (UNSA) district branch has elected its executive. The meeting took place at Muko Hall in Ntungamo town last week, where UNSA district coordinator Alfred Bemanya was the guest of honour. Boniface Bamwine was elected as speaker, deputised by Gloria Ninsima from Kyamate SS. Bamwine is from Muntuyera High School in Kitunga. Andrew Nateeraho (Muntuyera) is the chairman.
