Residents of Kyeizoba sub-county have asked the Government to reopen Mugonya secondary school. The LC3 chairman, Eldard Karukiiko, said parents had nowhere to take their children. The school was closed by the then education minister, Amanya Mushega over poor performance.

RUKUNGIRI: Girls to get
Girls in primary schools will soon start getting free sanitary towels, Rukungiri Woman MP Winnie Masiko said at the launch of the town council physical planning unit.

KAYUNGA: Saudi helps
Nazigo Noor Islamic School has received a well worth sh5m from the Saudi Arabian embassy. An embassy official, Abdullah Fahad, handed over the well to the school on Friday.
