Street kids a menace

SIR — Strict measures ought to be applied to remove these begging children and women off city roads. On Friday November 2, in a bid to get money from a passenger, a child fell in the middle of the road. Apparently, a barbed wire had tripped her, forcing her to fall head long. Had it not been for the intense traffic jam, this child would not have lived to see the next day’s sunshine. An oncoming vehicle was about to crash her. Thank God she survived the tragedy.
