It is possible for a woman not to be aware of her pregnancy, especially in the first few months. We see many surprised at the discovery. It is common among sexually-active young adolescents and pre-adolescents, who get pregnant before they menstruate. But being ignorant up to nine months is a bit too far.
Why would a woman bleed during pregnancy?
Usually, the bleeding is called spotting, which some women confuse with menstruation. It can occur if a woman has an infection in the vagina. After sex or vigorous exercise, the affected part can be traumatised and bleed a bit. We have seen cases, where pregnancy occurs outside the uterus, attaching itself to the liver or intestines, causing intermittent spotting. Spotting can also occur when the placenta implants on the lower uterus. It usually implants on the roof of the uterus.
Who is likely to have a placenta implant at the floor of the uterus?
We have seen it occur more often in women who have had many children and their uterus is lax. Also when the placenta is big, as in the case of twins who share it or in diabetic mothers. Again, if the mother has ever had an operation or her uterus has a scar in the lower parts, the placenta is more likely to implant there.

This woman has a problem, especially in her perception of her body. I wish we got more information about her education and mental status. She, and her man, seem to be naive.
