THE final list of clubs that will have voting powers in the forthcoming UABF assemblies will be displayed on Monday.
UABF normalisation committee chairman Dr. Ntege Ssengendo said the committee is currently studying appeals before drawing the final list.

A provisional list displayed last week had Kampala Boxing Club, Nakivubo, COBAP, Kololo High School, UPDF, Scorpion, Lukanga, Mengo Social Centre, Kiggwe, Nakulabye, Ssaku, East Coast, Naguru, Kakira, Rise and Shine and Africa Sport.
Clubs were asked to present constitutions, affiliation receipts and a list of competitions entered since 2005.

The final list will form the basis for the committee’s invitations for the Nov. 25 assembly where UABF’s constitution will be the key item.

Those vying for the federation’s presidency will be nominated and seconded at the same assembly.

Presidential aspirants will pay a non-refundable fee of $600 (sh1.1m). Businessman Rogers Ddungu, former boxer Justin Juuko and Masaka politician Luke Ssekamwa are the only ones who have shown interest.
