Let Amin rest in peace!

SIR — It is shocking to hear Ken Lukyamuzi lamenting that he was “disappointed for a government of civilised order to close the highest institution of learning which Idi Amin never did”.

During Amin’s rule no forests were depleted, there was no cost-sharing in hospitals and all those who qualified for makerere studied free of charge.

There was never any shortage of energy. Let him rest in peace.
