UGANDANS must take responsibility of their country in an effort to build a sense of national pride, Patrick Bitature, the Gifted by Nature Limited (GBN) chairman, urged last week.

Bitature was speaking during the launch of “Making a difference” campaign at the ministry of foreign affairs boardroom.
“The campaign is designed to cross all levels of Ugandan society to make all of us take responsibility of our country.

“This is an effort to build a sense of national pride by encouraging Ugandans to make a difference, in some way every day, whether it is at home, work, or any other aspect of life,” Bitature said.

He said wristbands have been made with the Gifted by Nature logo and the “Making a Difference” message.

They were on Sunday on sale at sh1,000 each at Parliament Avenue during the MTN International Marathon.

“I call upon all Ugandans to wear the band to show their support for the campaign,” Bitature said.

The wristbands are available at various MTN outlets, petrol stations, supermarkets and retail outlets.
