RUKUNGIRI - Politics is dirty, Kinkizi West parliamentary candidate James Musinguzi Garuga, who lost to security minister Amaama Mbabazi, has said. During a prayer service for PRA suspects at Nyakibale Catholic Church, Garuga vowed not to engage in politics again. He urged the congregation to pray for the Government to release the suspects.

Boss cautions

KABALE - Be security cautious as the Christmas season draws near, the district Police commander, Kadiri Asiimwe, has advised the business community. Addressing journalists on Tuesday, Asiimwe said security had been beefed up.

Defilers jailed

FORT PORTAL - The High Court on Wednesday sentenced two defilers to 12 years each in prison. Boniface Ndiramye and Asanasio Weitire of Kabarole had sexual intercourse with minors.
