TONY Rodman Nyanzi, 21, and Melton Cephas Ibaale, 25, may have bowed out of the lucrative Tusker Project Fame Academy after a gruelling six weeks, but their fans still believe they have got what it takes to succeed in music.

Their fans thronged Steak Out on Friday to welcome them home. For having done Uganda proud, Hazel Twesigye and the crew from Uganda Breweries were at hand to demonstrate how to live life large with Tusker.

Green was the colour of the night and it sure ruled what with the free bottles and food making it down revellers’ throats.

Tony plans to have a six- track album out and will soon be going to Nairobi’s Capital FM to clinch some deal and then back here to finish the multi-genre debut album. He showed some of his skills, guitar and vocals, amidst chanting fans.

Melton, a rock ‘n’ roll fan, also exhibited his love for the genre before doing his rendition of Maxi Priest’s Wild World.

Melton, a dentist with Back To God Medical Centre, plans to go into recording big time. Some fans won prizes including drinks and T-shirts.
