KWAGALAKWE day and boarding Primary School in Goma sub-county, Mukono district is to spend sh600m on construction of a new state-of-the-art upper class block.

The School’s director Jonathan Ntulume revealed this during the School’s Science gala recently.

“Some of our parents and well-wishers promised to contribute part of the money,” Ntulume said.

Guest of honour, State Minister for Elderly and Disabilities affairs, Sulaiman Madaada, pledged to lobby some funds abroad to help pupils who excelled during the science gala.

“I am going to talk with my friends in Libya and others in Europe to see how we can help those pupils who have excelled,” Madaada who has a child at the school said.

Madaada hailed the school’s administration for uplifting education standards in Mukono district and instilling discipline and good morals in their children.

The second best science pupil in the 2005 Primary Living Examination (PLE) in Mukono district was a pupil of the school.
Madaada called for cooperation between parents, teachers and the administration if the school is to continue excelling.

Among the things that pupils exhibited were art and crafts, modern farming methods and livestock ventures.
