One person died when his vehicle rammed into a train at a railway crossing at Wakitaka on the Jinja-Kamuli highway. James Kabanda’s vehicle was trapped into the wheels of the train that dragged it for about 100 metres from the scene of accident. The district traffic chief, Constantine Terense, blamed the accident on recklessness driving.

The function to be held at the university campus, is under the theme, ‘Celebrating the Month of Woman entrepreneurship in Uganda’. The conference, organised by the entrepreneurship centre, is to promote enterpreneurship in Uganda.
