Rebellious princes Princess Diana Teyegalla, Kabaka Ronald Mutebi’s youngest sister on Monday shocked members of the Lukiiko (Parliament) when she walked in wearing a pair of wide-bottomed trousers and proceeded to a seat near the throne and sat cross-legged. Teyegalla who seemed to follow the Lukiiko proceedings was later seen waving excitedly to her brother Prince David Wassajja, who came in late and sat among members of the Lukiiko. Scribe Muliika Katikkiro Dan Muliika is not only a ‘mahogany’ but has traits of a good news editor. True enough the following day he made a better headline “Muliika is as strong as a mahoganyâ€.
Extra large, ugly Fr. Paul Ssemwogerere, the parish priest of Christ the King, is a humourous man. Last Sunday he told Emmanuel Cardinal Wamala that when he posted him to the city centre parish he was small, handsome and young. He added that with years he has become extra large, old and ugly. but in spite of that, while all other priests have left he was still at Christ the King to welcome him. He thanked Wamala for having tolerated him all those years. Wamala however praised him as ‘a precious gift’ to him for the many years he served as his Vicar general. Christ the king was bidding Wamala farewell and congratulating him upon his silver jubilee as a bishop.
