SIMON Ayeko struck double gold as Kampala International University continued with its dominance in the East Africa University Games.
The games, that have attracted universities from Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda, entered day two yesterday.
Ayeko won the 1500m and 10000m finals to add onto the 5000m medal he won on day one.
But Ndejje University also rose to the occasion in the field events, with Daniel Lubangkene, Chris Kiptoo and Sarah Nambawa winning gold.
Action in the other disciplines was still in the preliminary stages at the different venues around Kampala.
