It pays to crusade against immorality and condom use in society. If you do not believe it, ask Pastor Martin Sempa.

The pastor, who chaperons Makerere Community Church and is involved in the Global AIDS Prevention, was last weekend awarded a doctorate of public service in public health in Philadelphia, USA.

While awarding Sempa, Prof Sherrill Barb, the school president of Philadelphia Biblical University, applauded Sempa's 18-year role in Uganda’s successful response to HIV/AIDS.

Sempa’s Primetime programme at Makerere University has reportedly transformed the university. He was a Government consultant in drafting the strategy on abstinence, being faithful and the innovation of the global AIDS flags.

The strategy was launched by the first lady recently. This award comes on the heels of Sempa’s complaints against Black Mamba and Kamunye tabloids. The media council said these papers can sell in shops (not on the streets) or sell without pornography.
