New Year’s surprise

When Musa’s barber made a mistake and cut into his long maintained beard, Musa was advised to cut it all off.
And those who saw him concurred that he looked more handsome without his beard.
So, he decided to shave it off completely and after several smiles on the faces of girls he met that day, made it his New Year’s resolution to keep a clean-shaven chin.
Musa then wanted to surprise his wife. So, he stayed out till late on New Year’s Day and sneaked into the house past midnight when the wife was fast asleep.
He was excited to hear what she would say the next morning after finding him clean-shaven.
But towards morning, his wife turned and touched him.
Suddenly, she startled herself out of sleep and shook him awake; “Patrick, Patrick, you have not gone?! Hurry up go. Good-for-nothing is about to come. How could you fall asleep and forget?”
Patrick was the name of the neighbour. When she switched on the lights, both had got their New Year’s surprise.
