750 get prizes in draw

SEVEN hundred fifty people got prizes worth sh20m in the Shell-MTN promotion final draw at Shell Bombo Road, in Kampala, on Friday.

Call Time’s operations manager, Gerald Lukebera, said the six-month promotion aimed at thanking customers for purchasing MTN products.
There were over 200,000 entries countrywide. The prizes won included motorcycles, bicycles, airtime and T-shirts.
Ronah Kusiima, Gerald Mukasa, Kasumba Yusuf from Shell Ibanda, Mukono and Jinja Road respectively won the first prize of a bodaboda each.
“The draws were held at the end of every month starting in July,†Mukasa said. At the end of the draw, over sh150m had been won in prizes.
