Mbale club receives sh32m aid

MBALE Tigers Table Tennis Club has received a sh32m grant from the Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA) through Laupa Lunning to develop table tennis in Mbale District.

MBALE Tigers Table Tennis Club has received a sh32m grant from the Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA) through Laupa Lunning to develop table tennis in Mbale District.

Speaking to The New Vision in Mbale, club chairman Emmanuel Matysetyse said the money would be used to promote the game through four pilot schools in the district which include Bududa SSS, Mbale SSS, North Road and Nabumali Boarding primary schools.

Other activities will include repair and maintenance of equipment, training of trainers and popularising the game.
