THE Belgium government has injected over sh7.8b in Kasese district in the past three years, the chief administrative officer has said.
Giles Kahika said Belgium, through the Belgium Technical cooperation, injected the money in October 2001 to support the Kasese District Rural community development programme for three years.
He asked Belgium to extend the programme which winds up in February 2006.
Kahika was on Tuesday speaking at the closure of a three-day budget conference at Kasese Catholic Diocese Social Services Hall.
