BUZIGA Country Resort, a multimillion three-star hotel, has opened in Kampala.

Vision Reporter writes that the hotel owned by Willy Jagwe, a city businessman, is located in Buziga, off Gaba Road.

It is a 45-minute drive from Entebbe Airport.

Kabaka Ronald Mutebi tasted what the resort has on offer during his recent tour of Makindye Division.
He had lunch and rested in the Kabaka’s Suite and rested for two hours.

Mayor Ssebaana Kizito, area leaders and local council chairpersons were on the entourage.

The resort offers full conference and banquet facilities, complete for weddings, parties, smaller one-to-one meetings, board meetings or conferences for up to 400 people.
It also prides itself with a health club a gym, aerobics, steam bath, massage, sauna and two pool tables.

“We provide self-contained executive rooms with single and double occupancy options. African cottages are available for individuals and families in a tranquil environment. Special rates for group booking are also offered,” Dorkas Kayaga, the general manager, said in a recent interview.
She said all rooms are fitted with a telephone, television sets and safe deposit boxes.

Kayaga said the restaurant offers a variety of choices for both local and international cuisines.

She said a large range of light refreshments are served in the main bar, including fresh fried and lots of grills “as you enjoy that unique taste of our breath-taking scenery of lake Victoria. We have a well stocked bar with cocktails for your choice.”
