State House praises Amelia Kyambadde

The newly appointed Principal Private Secretary to the President, Amelia Kyam-badde, has been commended for her dedicated and tireless service.

The newly appointed Principal Private Secretary to the President, Amelia Kyam-badde, has been commended for her dedicated and tireless service.

State House comptroller Richard Muhinda and his colleagues in State House and the President’s Office said this on Saturday at a congratulatory party organised for Kyambadde.

Muhinda said Kyamba-dde was a gift to State House.

The Senior Presidential Advisor on Poverty Erad-ication, Joan Kakwenzire, said even before her appointment, Kyambadde made it easy for staff to work around the President.

President Yoweri Museveni recently named Kyambadde to the post.

Prior to her new appointment, Kyambadde was the Senior Private Secretary to the President.

She has worked with the President since 1979 when he was Minister of Defence in the interim government that replaced the Idi Amin dictatorship.

She has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Business Administration from Makerere University and the United Kingdom.
