Porn won’t do good to Uganda
SIR— I am glad the Government is taking steps to stop pornography in Kampala. It’s unhealthy for children to grow up in a place where indecency and porn are all over the streets.

In the developed world, it can be restircted to certain places, which is not the case in Uganda. Even then, children in the developed world grow up too fast and are getting probelms much sooner. With underdeveloped countires, once you give them an inch by allowing porn to be sold in certain places, the will take a mile and display it all over the streets, because there aren’t enough law enforcement officers to watch out for it. Government must be firm about this because the consequences of it are far too grave. Let’s face it, Africa doesn’t need any more problems. Porn won’t do any good for the country’s image.
