IT took the Light College Katikamu administration a couple of hours to believe their senior six results. They had excelled with over 84.7% of the students obtaining four principal passes, writes James Odomel.
The school director, Jonah Nsubuga, said hard work and commitment of both teachers and students enabled them to excel.
“I thank God that my students have been able to excel. It is not a simple thing because it requires hard work and a lot of effort,†Nsubuga said.
Nsubuga said he has already acquired a number of highly qualified teachers and equipment to steer the school an extra mile in academics.
The school produced some of the best students both in arts and sciences in Wakiso district. Diana Nabengo was the best arts student with AABC and credit three in General Paper.
