Moi is not a Kikuyu!
SIR— I have just read Gwynne Dyer's column, "Ghastly times<br>are coming to Kenya", in which former Kenyan president, Daniel arap Moi is reported to be a member of the Kikuyu tribe!

Unless the Kikuyu have made him an honorary member of their tribe, Moi is a Kalenjin. Corruption is evil, and should be condemned.
However, it is unfair to blame it on any tribe or ethnic group. I am not aware of any scientific method of measuring which tribe ‘eateth’ the most. Is stomach size a good indicator?
