THE Worship Harvest Fundraising breakfast at Sitar Restaurant on Saturday raised sh1m.

THE Worship Harvest Fundraising breakfast at Sitar Restaurant on Saturday raised sh1m. Emmanuel Okullo, started the function with a few guessing games, which were followed by a praise and worship session led by Moses Mukisa, the general secretary of Worship Harvest Ministries.

The ministries was started by Uncle Ben, chaplain of St Francis Chapel, Makerere University in 1988, as Come Alive Ministries to bring students during their S6 vacation together every year to touch people’s lives through Christian music.

Over the years, they have written and produced several music albums. The main point in the whole function was saved for last when everybody had had fun, fellowship and food and were now feeling more generous than ever.

And sh3.9m is needed to cater for the ministries tours to schools in western Uganda and for a public address system. At the close, Robert and Brenda Abaliwano, were recognised as the most faithful partners of the ministry.
