The Baganda living in the UK and Northern Ireland have demanded for representation in the Lukiiko under the new federal arrangement.

They made the demands on Sunday after a meeting with Mengo education minister Dr. J.C. Muyingo at the President Hotel, Russell Square in London.

Muyingo and David Ntege of the Katikkiro’s office are on an official visit to explain to the Baganda the new developments in the kingdom.

Muyingo appealed to the group to support the federal deal agreed upon by Mengo and the central government, saying it was a stepping stone to full federalism.

He thanked them for their continued support to the kingdom.
