PERSONAL current account customers of dfcu Bank will save 60% in bank charges monthly following the launch of the One Tariff flat fee of sh9,500 per month, writes Sylvia Juuko.
Robert Katuntu, the bank’s general manager, said during a press conference in Kampala that, “The dfcu One Tariff is a bold response to the public demand for a fair value and predictability in banking relations. It covers all transactions and more for a flat fee of sh9,500 per month.â€
An account holder who incurs a cost sh300,000 per year in transactional charges will save about sh186,000 annually under the new rate.
