WESTERN Union, Nile Bank and Diamond Trust Bank have donated household items and a house to the Uganda Women’s Efforts to Save Orphans (UWESO), writes James Odomel.

Janet Museveni, UWESO’s patron, said other companies should emulate the three financial services providers.

Nile Bank’s managing director, Richard Byarugaba, said, “Children have a right to good health, education and accommodation. We hope the donation will help them as they strive for a better future.”

Nthabiseng Moloi, Western Union’s marketing manager for southern and eastern Africa said, “We are very proud to be involved in a charitable programme that gives money to those who have helped our community.”
