THERE is a Rwandan challenge to contend with in the Kigezi-Crane Bank stroke-play golf tournament in Kabale this weekend.
Kabale Golf Club’s Sam Zaramba on Tuesday said that players from Rwanda had confirmed participation in the 36-hole strokeplay event.
“Stephen Katwiremu will lead a group of players from Kigali. There is not only competition from all over Uganda but also Rwanda,†Zaramba said. Katwiremu will be joined by Emmanuel Ruterana and Davis Kashaka.
The event is the second on the UGU calendar.
